SPEND LESS TIME WALKING IN THE HEAT 😵‍💫🤡💦

i went to the singapore night festival this evening! i had an amazing time seeing the light installations & soaking up the art vibes 💗💦

my partner planned this as a surprise date and i honestly LOVED IT 🥹🤍

however, as it was a surprise, i didn't research beforehand where the light installations were so we ended up WALKING A LOT IN THE HEAT 🔥

we tried following the online map on the festival's website but the UI on mobile is quite cluttered & unfriendly 😵‍💫

i've compiled a 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗘 based on the festival's physical map & my experience for when you visit!!!!

SAVE THIS GUIDE SO THAT YOU DONT END UP MELTING IN THE HEAT 🥵🔥

💗 𝓝𝓐𝓣𝓘𝓞𝓝𝓐𝓛 𝓜𝓤𝓢𝓔𝓤𝓜 & 𝓒𝓗𝓙𝓘𝓜𝓔𝓢 💗

i recommend starting around national museum area & ending off at chjimes! these are the 2 locations for the projection mappings — basically a large scale light projection with a storyline on the facade of the buildings! so you definitely want to catch these 2!

❣️ take note that the ticketed rollerblading event is also held within national museum! so y'all can book a timeslot in the afternoon then begin your route here!

here's what i suggest below:

🤍 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 @ 𝐒𝐌𝐔 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧

this is the biggest festival village — a spot to chill,

vibe to some music (they even have live performances on the weekends!) & get food 🤤

🤍 𝟕𝟎𝟎 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬

then you'd want to cross the lawn, over to national museum to catch the first projection mapping on the front of the museum!

then around the area you can find the next 3 installations!

from the lawn, cross the fort canning link to farquar garden!

walk to the front of SMU's law school next door to see this!

head into armenian street, and you should see this beside the bible house!

if you're not keen on viewing all the night lights, from here, you can choose between

my partner and i skipped these two and went to

it's a 3-in-1 light projection on the facade of chjimes! the other big light projection ☺️

there are four other light installations around here! my partner and i actually had dinner near bugis but we didn't know the night fest stretched till here 🫠 so we didn't visit! 🥹
