12 Days of Beauty: Best Sunscreens of 2023🌞

Here is Day 10 of 12 Days of Beauty!

Sun protection was very important for me this year! Even though I have a darker skin tone, it is still important for me as a black girl to wear SPF to prevent sun damage that accelerates the aging of skin and to protect my skin when I use skincare with actives such as vitamin C or AHAs! Always remember to wear SPF 30 or greater every day!

Here are my favorites this year!

#1 Summer Fridays Mineral Milk Sunscreen - This sunscreen glides on to my skin so beautifully and is one of the few sunscreens that does not leave a white or purple cast. It is a mineral sunscreen, so you do have to rub it in for a few minutes for the desired look! It works great if you use a thick moisturizer like the Farmacy Honey Halo prior to adding the sunscreen! This is the perfect holiday gift for any skincare lovers out there!

#2 Fenty Skin Mineral Sunscreen- This one is good as well but you cannot apply too much or it may leave a cast! It also gives a beautiful moisturizing glow!

#3 Aveeno Protect and Hydrate Sunscreen - This is a chemical sunscreen great for easy application without a white cast! It is a great option for those with sensitive skin that are apprehensive about using chemical sunscreen! It is also so hydrating for the skin. It’s like a 2 for 1 with moisturizer and sunscreen combined! It’s affordable as well. This product is under $10 at Walmart or Target!
