Cleaning up this old, stained, shower and tub:

This old tub/shower is cleaned frequently but had a lot of caked on grime from years of use. It was much overdue for a good refresh.

*I started by removing the old caulk from around the inside of the tub using the removal tool I purchased from Temu.

*I then sprayed white vinegar mixed half and half with water on a section of the shower and tub and sprinkled an adequate amount of baking soda on top. After letting it sit for a few minutes, I used the rough side of my sponge and the crevice brush to thoroughly clean the tile and tub. Once I finished the entire shower/tub, I rinsed everything thoroughly with the shower nozzle.

* Let it completely dry.

* Next, I re-caulked around the tub. I allowed that to dry as well before proceeding.

* I then used the grout paint pens to refresh the grout in the shower.

I’m very pleased with how the shower rehab turned out. It was a fairly easy project. Just a little time consuming. What do you think? Would you enjoy doing a project like this?
