🇲🇾 A trip to The Baking Trip😳

The Baking Trip is really a heaven for carbs lover like me! Freshly baked breads and cakes and is definitely worth to make a trip to. The whole place feels really homely and cozy and I always hope they open for people to dine in at their place, would be so nice! But for now it’s just for takeaways and delivery only. Plenty of parking as the whole place is really spacious! I always head there when I crave for good sourdough (healthy) and cakes! It’s always in my mind because the goods they created is so unique and special that you couldn’t find it elsewhere. Their price is also super reasonable! Win win situation! It’s a must go like really recommended you to go there! They change their menu every week and you get something new everytime you go. It’s run by 2 sisters and they are really really friendly!

Multiseed Batards (Rm16)

The Baking Trip is well known for their sourdough breads. And this Batards is AMAZING! The natural fermentation gave the sourdough slightly tangy taste and soft on the inside and crunchy on its crust! Perfect sourdough I can say! I love to pair it with avocado and eggs and also peanut butter with bananas. You can mix and match with its of things for pairing and it’s great for breakfast or teatime, even dinner tho!

Blueberry Cream Cheese Raisins Rye (Rm12)

Super loving this already the first time I ordered and keep repeating my order. Blueberry and cream cheese combination is perfect and out of the world! The bread is soft and you can even eat it on its own as the blueberry already gave it some flavor and cream cheese to balance it off. I paired it with kaya and some butter, wuish, extraordinary! MUST TRY this if they have it on their menu.

Chocolate Babka (Rm8)

They really used premium chocolate to it so you can feel a hint of bitterness at the end and it’s like showered with chocolate in a bread! Bread is soft and buttery paired with chocolate and you would never go wrong with anything chocolate to be honest! But bear in mind, this is really atas chocolate they used tho! I can taste it! My tastebuds knew right away 🍫

Mushroom mozzarella pan (Rm5.50)

Mushroom is buttery fragrant adding a lil crunch to the whole texture and it’s mozerella in a bread, hello? It’s AMAZING! A lil pull from the cheese and I can only say the bread texture is soft. You’ll never go wrong with The Baking Trip baking their carbs! Everything is AMAZING!

Potato & Leek pan (Rm5.50)

Potato and leek is a perfect combination! You can get the fragrance of the leek as a garnish and the potato in a bread! Your everyday staple!

Leafy Potato Wheat pan (Rm5)

Can you imagine you eating a whole potato but with a twist in a bread where you can get quality potato and it’s so stuffed in a bread and it’s so filling after that? Yep! That is why The Baking Trip really serve quality breakfast! When you think of breakfast, you think of The Baking Trip! Tbh I love this place so much, hoping they will open for dine in very soon so I can hang out with my mom since she loves their bread so much as well (we’re carbs fam)

P/s they serve really good hand drip coffee as well! I’m not a coffee person but my friend say it’s really good! So you can try and let me know 🫶
