my polygel nail prep routine - part 2 🌸

💅🏽part 2 of my polygel nail prep routine that helps my nail last for a month (part 1 is already posted) ⬇️ (the full in depth polygel tutorial is on my youtube at doperthanyournails and most products are on my amazon storefront🎨 all info is 🔗 in my bio!)

✨push back the cuticle gently but thoroughly. don’t forget to get into those corners!

✨240 sanding band at about 4 rpms to make sure that cuticle area is really clean and remove the shine (be very gentle)

✨dehydrate with young nails swipe

✨size out nail tips to make sure they fit sidewall to sidewall

✨apply nail tips with brush on glue

✨keep and shaping of the nail tip to a minimum - remember this is a thin plastic nail tip

✨young nails protein bond for primer

✨apply gel base coat and fully cure - do not wipe off the sticky layer
