Blind boxes have really grown in popularity these past few years! If you’re looking to find some in Bangkok, do drop by ✨Mega Plaza✨! I chanced across it randomly but it’s near Yaowarat :)

What to expect: 6 floors filled with toy and collectible shops! These range from various blind boxes (PopMart, Sonnies etc), anime/cartoon/movie figurines, Gundam, cars… A lot to look at!!

If you’re looking for OOS blind boxes, they may have what you’re searching for! Unfortunately prices for these will usually be jacked up and you might feel a bit uncomfortable supporting resellers but if you really want it… they may have it for cheaper than in sg. Do check out different shops to find the best prices! Many sell the same items esp for blind boxes and they list their prices openly most of the time. E.g. was trying to get an Exciting Macaron labubu for someone and prices for this ranged from 850-1100 baht? Also had both opened and unopened boxes so you have options.

If you’re worried about accidentally buying fakes, I would say that they are quite open with them and their pricing will match accordingly. Saw several shops selling fake sonnies and they even had samples for you to see how they look like! Haha. These went for less than 100 baht vs real ones which were at least 500 baht. BUT better to be safe than sorry so make sure you read up on how to spot fakes in case ofc!

I didn’t bother to bargain so i’m not sure how receptive they are to it. But because of the intense competition (due to there being so many shops selling similar items) i would expect them to be open to it?
