MUST TRY: affordable comfort chinese food @ bugis🤤

Hey foodies on lemon8! Sharing with you my one and only go to spot for claypot dishes which i’ve had probably >10 times now!!! YES, its THAT GOOD (not an understatement) 🤭

What we ate:

🥘 Signature sesame chicken (small $6.30, large $8.30) - somehow it’s the way they cook it… this dish rly hits the spot for me and truly reminds me of a hearty homecooked dish 🤤 chicken is v tender and i LOVE the gravy sauce that comes w it! will always pour it over my rice, it’s also not too spicy.

🥘 Handmade ngoh hiang ($6 for 2 rolls) - another signature from this place!!! these rolls had lots of meat fillings and a crispy crust which adds a crunch to the bite! it also comes with chili sauce dip on the side to go along with it.

🥬 Sambal kangkong ($6.20) - my go to vegetable choice for zichar meals!! as always, vege don’t disappoint and it was not too oily or spicy as well, you can also opt for less spicy to try!

🥟 Homemade fried fish dumpling ($6 for 5 pcs) - a normal fried fish, but similar to ngoh hiang it had a good amount of filling in each dumpling and the skin was also fried to golden crispiness. but if i’ve to pick one i’d definitely recommend trying the ngoh hiang instead!

Some of their other popular crowd favourite dishes would be chicken herbal soup, sambal seafood claypot and mala chicken mix 😋 For beverages, they have a few homemade refreshing drinks like chrysanthemum tea, luo han guo with longan (my fav) and lemongrass for $2.50 each!

They have a few outlets across SG such as serangoon (OG coffee shop style outlet), tampines, singpost centre and bugis+!!! The BEST part about it is def its affordable price point as our bill totalled to only $25 🤯

HOT TIP: You can register for their membership and receive additional perks such as free dishes - we actually got the fried fish dumplings as a complimentary one!
