i had sweet potato pizza with WHIPPED CREAM?!👩🏻‍🍳😘

have you tried Nipong Naepong’s special sweet potato pizza served with whipped cream?! YES, you read that right, WHIPPED CREAM!! I was initially skeptical about the food pairing too but once i tried it, it was love at first bite 🤪

Nipong Naepong serves Chinese-Korean seafood noodles dish known as Jjamppong, with many different ingredients such as beef & seafood and flavours such as classic jjamppong, tomato, tomyum, curry and even mala!!

What we tried:

🍜 Seafood Ro Ppong (Roje) - inspired by rose pasta which combines tomato & cream base, this bowl comes with a creamy ‘pink’ sauce, with lots of seafood, topped with shrimp roe and mozerella cheese for that cheesy noodle pull!!

🍕 Sweet Potato Pizza - MY ABSOLUTE LOVE from the restaurant! its a velvety sweet potato puree baked on a tortilla base, served with fluffy whipped cream. if you have to try one thing off the menu, it would be this dish 😜 not too jelat imo, as the pizza crust is quite thin and whipped cream is not the heavy creamy kind! the portion is pretty huge so recommend sharing it within 3-4 pax

🍹Lychee Yoghurt Ade - there are a few flavours to choose from for the ade jug, but we tried the lychee yoghurt one and it was really nice and refreshing! texture is kinda like a slushie, flavours on point, not too sweet

They also have other dishes such as tteokbokki, iron-plate rice and risottos! For pizzas, there are also other options such as coconut or garlic, but they all come with the whipped cream on the side :)

Nipong Naepong currently has a set menu for 2 Ppongs + 1 Pizza + 2 Sodas for $59.90 (before gst & service charge), which is a p good deal considering you get to try their signature dishes and it also comes with drinks!
