iPad Magic Keyboard Dupe? Pros & Cons

I’ve been wanting to try out a keyboard for my iPad but wasn’t willing to spend so much for Apple’s Magic Keyboard. I ended up purchasing this one from AliExpress.

Here’s a quick list of my pros and cons:

Pros

• Price - super affordable

• Keyboard backlight - switch between 7 different RGB colors & alter brightness.

• Build quality - the keyboard feels well made & the trackpad and keyboard responsiveness is solid.

• USB-C Rechargeable - doesn’t charge from the iPad like Apple’s Magic Keyboard does, which allows less battery drain to the iPad.

• Great for travel

• Multi-gesture trackpad

• Palm rejection while typing.

Cons

• Weight - the keyboard has some weight to it and with the iPad attached it’s even heavier.

• USB-C Rechargeable - a pro & a con, because it doesn’t charge through the iPad I have to remember to charge the keyboard.

• Size of keys - this is definitely a personal preference. As I usually use mechanical keyboards I’m not used to typing on such small keys.
