How I Won & Ate For Free At A Fancy Steakhouse

💭 let me #SpillTheTea on how I managed to bag a FREE $100 voucher to Lawry’s!! It’s all thanks to Kiss 92’s contest giveaway. They usually have daily quizzes & we just have to WhatsApp in our interest/answers and standby for a call if you’re selected! ITS THAT EASY!!! Fastest fingers first of course, I’ve participated in around 6 contests before finally receiving a call from them 🤭

But it was such a NERVE WRECKING experience & needing to answer correctly on the spot was NO JOKE. But the DJ is also friendly enough to give another chance if you get it wrong

Would definitely recommend y’all to try your luck at such giveaways, not only for the cheap thrills but also so you can save with such vouchers 😉#Adulting101

The food was, sadly, #NotForMe and here’s why:

🥩 Filet Mignon $120

-ordered medium rare but got more of a medium well texture, which is on the chewy side

🍝 Seafood Pasta $50

-got the tomato sauce base which we regretted cause it tasted like cheap pasta sauce. Should have gone for the aglio olio base instead.

💸 Total bill was $200 for 2pax (we only ordered the steak & pasta) which is freaking ex?!

Thankfully with the $100 voucher, only paid half price for our meal

-Service here was EXCELLENT. Friendly staff & even gave us a complimentary birthday cake & took a free instant photo for us too! Otherwise, food is sub-par considering the hefty price tag
