Ultimate Game Room Tour

We built a wall in our home's front room last year and created a 5th bedroom. We turned that into our Movie/Game Room with a workout space in the back (yes, a little bit of everything room!)

For our game room, we wanted a more relaxing, fun feel that didn't have to match the rest of our neutral, traditional, modern home.

Our game room has everything from Disneyland souvenirs to a mini fridge. Here are some fun aspects of our game room that's crucial to any chill zone:

1. Accent wall or dark paint colors: we did BOTH with our TV accent wall. We created a slat style wall and painted it Iron Ore by Sherwin Williams.

2. Storage/shelving: the back area of our game room has a mini fridge, cabinet, and counter, where we store workout equipment, drinks, and other miscellaneous items.

3. Personal touches: our Nintendo game wall is the highlight of this room, as well as our guitars we hung up and wavy rug design from Rugs.com.

We use this room now more than any other in the house, especially for movie nights or relaxing.
