$15 Nightstand FLIP!

Don't sleep on Facebook Marketplace—it's where I found this wood nightstand with gold handles. I knew I could make it look so cute for my toddler's room.

I picked it up, cleaned and lightly sanded it, and got to work.

1. PAINT: I painted it with 2 coats of paint. It's a neutral/gray color (can't remember the name!) and waited for it to dry.

2. FLOWERS: I picked up wood flowers and jewels from Hobby Lobby. I knew I wanted a "groovy" style, so I painted each flower a different color and glued them directly onto the nightstand.

3. HANDLES: I gave the handles a shine and reattached them to the nightstand.

This easy DIY shows how powerful some paint and a new idea can be! You can look at a piece of furniture now for its *potential* and imagine what you can make of it.

I love how cute the nightstand turned out and my daughter loved it too!
