Chic & Stylish Picnic Outfit Ideas

Who doesn’t love a picnic date? Picnic is such a fun occasion to spend with your loved ones. At the beach, the park, or by the lake, we need to look great, cause girl we are way HOTTER than Malaysia’s weather is 💅🏼

The sun ain’t stopping us from looking cute for a picnic. Worry not, I will share some ideas of chic and stylish outfits for your picnic date!

Picnic Outfit #1

For the first look, I really wanted a romantic and classic look so I styled a graphic T-Shirt with a vintage checkered green blazer from Kurlasik for my top. Also, I wore SHEIN’s beige skirt and I dolled it with a vintage shawl that I thrifted at the Serba Serbi event! For a picnic, I love to wear a flowy skirt and sneakers for my own comfort! My suggestion is, you can also wear any heels of your liking or kitten heels for a more feminine look. Those kitten heels will definitely make your outfit cuter! 💯

Picnic Outfit #2

The second outfit was inspired by Japanese fashion look, which I focused on minimalism. I styled a plain white shirt from Zanzea with a Coco Boutique Floral Skirt. Another shoe option that I would recommend besides a sneaker is beach sandals which can elevate your outfit even more! If you’re going to a beach picnic, a bucket hat is a must!

Picnic Outfit #3

Who says you can only wear pink only on Wednesday? Nah, you can also wear pink on picnic day! The third look was inspired by the Mean Girl (movie) that I love so much. For my top, I wore a pink inner and a yellow cardigan from SHEIN and pink checkered pants. I styled my hijab in a turban-like style and paired it with gold earrings. Out of all four outfits, this is the only outfit that I didn’t wear a skirt. I’ve always had the idea that picnic outfits should be floral and flowy but we can always go out of our comfort zone!

Picnic Outfit #4

My last outfit was inspired by Parisian look, hence the beret as the highlight of my outfit! My top is a beige vest from Shopee and a white shirt from Zanzea. Another tip from me, I would always try to have a pop of colour in my outfit so I paired my top with a bright lilac/purple skirt to not make the outfit dull. I would also suggest wearing a handbag that is not too striking, so colours like white, nude, or even beige would compliment the outfit so well!
