I tend to get constipated when I travel or when I am very busy. It is so uncomfortable. Being constipated truly affects your quality of life. There are times I go days without going to the bathroom and it restricts the foodsI can eat and the clothes I want to wear. Over time this has happened to me I have learned a couple tricks and tips that have helped me. Here they are!

1. I drink warm water with a little bit of lemon before eating breakfast. Starting my day with hydration truly helps. It helps break down foods that have not been excreted. It helps me digest and metabolize.

2. I have noticed stretching gives my muscles a boost and stimulates my bowel movements.

3. If I am having a really really hard time going to the bathroom I'll drink some prunes juice. I have some kefir. Kefir has live probiotics and really helps. Prune juice is high and fiber which helps bowel movements.
