Posture is extremely important for you. The wrong posture can cause you pain and negatively impact your life. If you sit for long hours because of work or it’s part of your lifestyle here are some tips and tricks that help me avoid bad posture and help me with any neck pain.
1. Make sure your shoulders and back are not rounded when sitting. Lift up your chest and hold your shoulders back. Also make sure your arm rest not too low or too high.
2. If you sit for long period of times try some stretches or walking for a couple minutes every hour.
3. Your posture can be affected by the way you sleep too. We spend long hours sleeping and if you have a pillow that either is too high or too low this can really affect the way your neck rests. Try sleeping on your back with a pillow that levels your neck.
