Zero waste strawberry syrup 🍓

I love making strawberry syrup and have used it for many things throughout the years. It extremely easy and delicious, not to mention contains high quantities of manganese, potassium, iron and fiber.

Notes:

✨Adjust measurements as needed. Say you have 4 cups of strawberry tops, use three cups of sugar. If you only have one cup of strawberry tops, use 3/4 cup of sugar!

✨if you don’t have a tight netted strainer or no strainer at all, use a spoon or ladle with holes. Scooping out the strawberry tops and placing them elsewhere (squeeze out as much juice as you can before tossing)

✨you can store in just about any container. Don’t throw away your glass bottles from wine coolers. Sodas, ect. I love to store my liquids and syrups in these! They’re perfect for pouring. Just grab a funnel or carefully pour. And just wash and reuse!

Ideas to use your syrup:

🍓Strawberry milk

🍓Mix into sodas (I recommend a fruit poppi or olipop soda it’s so yummy)

🍓use for French toast/pancakes

🍓 use as topping for banana splits/icecream

🍓cocktails (I recommend vodka/lemon juice/strawberry syrup/ sparkling water/ and strawberry slices for garnishing!)
