My Favourite Mala Soup! (veg edition)

So…. Have you guys tried Ascend before? I chanced upon it one lunch with my colleague. Tried it and immediately fell in love with it!

Their concept is just like any other Malatang stores (say Gong Yuan, YGF). Pick out what you want into a huge bowl, choose your soup base, spicy level and wait for your piping hot bowl of soup to be done.

Only difference is … Ascend offers Vegetarian MLT! Their soup base is limited but honestly it doesn’t matter much to me cause I’m always there for their herbal soup. It’s really really good.

They offer a wide variety of veggies, mock/veg meats. I love the vegetarian prawns, meatballs and meat.

Ascend is located at Esplanade xchange and definately worth a try if you’ve never been there before!
