πI came to Beauty Time previously to do my pedicure and it was the prettiest pedicure ever !! Almost kick started my feet pic business bc of how much I like my toe nails now πππ (Link to post: Cheap nails in SG) and now Iβm back to try out their affordable laser hair removal starting from only $6 !!! It is conveniently located at Bugis Cube which was only a 5 mins walk away from bugis MRT and the interior was super nice n clean, honestly one of the prettiest salons Iβve been to !
πI decided to do super hair removal for my legs as I have super manly hairy legs and chicken skin from shaving too much ππ€’ my hair grows back super fast too like I prob have to shave once a week and being a corporate girlie I simply do not have time for that now πππ so I decided to take some PERMANENT measures which is to opt for laser hair removal !!! π
βΌοΈAt beauty time, they use SHR instead of IPL
πThe difference between SHR and IPL :
β With IPL, there is a risk of burning the skin, but with SHR there is no such risk.
β SHR also has a higher success rate in terms of permanently removing hair.
β IPL can sometimes only temporarily remove hair, but SHR will permanently remove it.
β Finally, SHR is less expensive than IPL, so it is a great option for those on a budget.
πI have also done SHR for my underarms at other salons but what shocked me for the SHR here was that :
1) there are no bright light flashes ??? So u donβt even need to wear protective sunglasses , which is so shocking to me!
2) thereβs absolutely 0οΈβ£ pain / heat at all
- even tho other salons also have no pain, there will always be abit of heat which could get abit uncomfortable although it was not scalding hot !
- Iβm so shocked that I had 0 feeling from the SHR here ???
πI asked her why was it so different and she said itβs bc they are using a new technology / device which doesnβt have those flashes / heat which makes the whole process more comfortable !
πDo note: pls rmb to shave beforehand or else there will be additional charges if they shave for u !!
- they use a new razor for each customer as well, so udh to worry abt the hygiene of this place π―π―π―
πprices for the SHR start at only $6 which is super worth it ! As my calves are a bigger area, it costs $49 for the first trial which is sooo worth still imo π―π―π― (price list on the last page)
