falling in love w/ my acne prone skin

growing into my skin as it hits its hormonal 20’s stage is so hard, from “perfect” teenage skin to my now acne prone skin, it’s been a journey!!

i’ve been working on my self image, and here’s the few things i’m implementing heavily!!!

1 -> embracing my imperfections: knowing we all have some “faults” but recognizing it makes you who you are. and knowing you’re still just as beautiful despite what your mind is telling you

2 -> recognizing that textured skin is normal! rather than caking the makeup on, and allowing my skin to breathe and heal, i’ve really grown to accept and acknowledge that it’s more normal than i think. and it’s OKAY!!!!!

3 -> taking pictures of myself when i feel beautiful!! i think it’s so important to really take in the moments when we feel good about ourselves. it’s so nice to feel good and look at yourself with love!! i hope you can try it sometime <3
