I’ve been working on really refining my fashion as I begin to invest in quality pieces so what better way to figure out my fashion than looking at my muses:

🍒Fran Drescher was 36 when the show started, yet her fashion remains timeless. I think her flamboyant prints and youthful color palette, combined with her bombshell hair and glamorous makeup, have set her apart from other Hollywood fashion icons. I always keep an eye out for her Moschino black and white polka dot top, hoping to own one someday. Her staple little black skirt is versatile and can be dressed up with a glamorous top and black tights or kept more casual with a short vest and a black turtleneck underneath.

🚬 Elvira Hancock exudes the "sad girl" aesthetic that Lana Del Rey has popularized for our generation. She has everything she could ask for and looks the part, yet there's a somber look behind her blue eyes and innocent blonde bob. I read somewhere that her nighttime attire is meant to imply her desire to fade into the background and discreetly float through her day-to-day life. Glamour and sadness—sounds like a modern-day Renaissance princess to me.

🎀 Elle Woods is another inspiration; she has stars in her eyes and crystals on her heels as she aspires to become a lawyer. Rather than fading into society and losing her sense of self, her dreams only strengthen her confidence and sense of style. Clothes are her outlet for self-expression, so in my opinion, she's clearly an artist, and her body is her canvas! Bright pinks, tiny bags, and Y2K dresses are my inspiration this summer, and the Y2K silhouette is definitely in right now!

🔮 Yennefer of Vengerberg is my subconscious muse. I enjoy her fantasy-inspired attire, which appeals to my darker sense of fashion. I love a moody, sultry vibe, and Yennefer lets her clothes do the work for her. I'm also a huge video game nerd, so I enjoyed seeing a character brought to the screen and studied her costume designs the moment they were available. If I lived in a castle, you better believe this is how I would dress every day, or rather, how my lady-in-waiting would dress me.

👑 Princess Diana is a practical and timeless fashion icon. With the rise of the “old money” aesthetic, how could we not reference her? She sets a standard above old money, and I would dare say that the royals have been the source of money for centuries. However, despite the abundance of the royals at her fingertips, she turned it away and chose to make herself happy. A comfortable athleisure, I might say, truly is timeless and more popular than ever in Western society right now. I constantly look at photos of Diana and never feel bored. Her effortless casual look never comes off as sloppy because her makeup and hair are always somewhat done.
