Packing my competition bag with ALL the things.

First of all the Brumate Era is the best water bottle. I have tossed it in my cheer bag upside down and as long as you lock it, it’s sealed!

Snacks…..I need all the snacks when it comes to competition days. It is highly unlikely that coaches will have a chance to go to a vendor to buy a snack. Maybe after we compete and all the cheerleaders are with their parents but at that point we are tired and ready to go home.

Competitions are 90% of the time ALL day and because I’m a mom and coach, I’m doing my girls hair and makeup plus my own before we even get to the venue! Following competition we have awards which could be right after or a few hours later. It varies.

Some competitions are two days which is actually a lot of fun but you are also exhausted by the end of day 2. Last year we went from cheer competition to baton twirling practice….that was a looong day!
