I stand as a passionate advocate for natural birth, firmly believing that many women have been robbed of their confidence in this divine process. God has designed us to embrace it, emerging renewed, stronger, filled with positive hormones, and ready for motherhood with unwavering courage.

Equipped with a foundational understanding of childbirth and some medical background, my heart was set on natural birth. I yearned to experience every aspect of this journey, both its beauty and its challenges. I refused to numb my emotions or rely on medications. I knew that if countless women in the past had accomplished it without medical interventions, so could I. As soon as I discovered I was expecting my first child, I embarked on a quest for knowledge and self-education. I was determined to make the right choices, to revel in the joy of pregnancy, and to navigate labor and delivery without unnecessary interference or complications.

My journey began when I stumbled upon Ina May's book, and suddenly everything fell into place. It became clear that I was on the right path. Despite the skepticism and fear expressed by relatives and friends, I stood firm in my confidence. I knew that God would be my guiding light.

This book instilled a profound sense of assurance within me, equipping me with techniques that would prove invaluable during labor. My water birthing experience at a birthing center filled me with immense pride. I had successfully endured this awe-inspiring task bestowed upon us by God. I won't deny the pain, but I employed breathing techniques, the acupuncture comb method, prayer, positive affirmations, movement within the tub, hydration, and closed my eyes for the majority of my active contractions. Now that I possessed a deeper understanding of childbirth, I felt compelled to share my experience and motivate my pregnant friends to explore the natural path, embracing the countless benefits and the divine design of childbirth.

Later on, a dear friend recommended "Supernatural Birth" to me, and it completely blew my mind. A pain-free birth? I couldn't believe it! But the author and countless other women who shared their stories in the book had experienced it through prayer and faith.
