Despite it being summer, I currently still have a goal of gaining muscle so I’m aiming to be eating at maintenance calories or a slightly above! Although I try to avoid setting physique-based fitness goals, I did have a goal of gaining some more definition in my quads and hamstrings, as well as my shoulders, and I feel like I’ve noticed more progress with this split than I have in a long time!
MONDAY- glutes & hamstrings
TUESDAY- upper body (pull focus)
WEDNESDAY- rest
THURSDAY- upper body (push focus)
FRIDAY- glutes & quads
SATURDAY- full body
SUNDAY- rest
This is my ideal schedule for the week when it comes to my workout split, I usually try to have set rest days, but my work schedule is a little different every week and I end up taking rest days based on my schedule and how my body feels. Listening to your body and resting when you need it is super important — you’re not gonna lose progress if you take an extra rest day or skip a workout!
