An oily-lid girl review (tldr 7/10 for me)

Having fluffy lashes creates an alluring look that a lot of us girlies love.

I used to:

- use falsies (takes too much time and effort–I'd also cut my falsies into half and only apply them on the outer corner of my eyes)

- do lash lifts (my lashes are stubborn af, lifts were amazing but i hated having to spend precious time waiting and doing nothing while i get my lifts done)

- do lash extensions (takes up time too, and my oily lids just arent suitable for extensions. I've a go-to home-based lash salon and i rly rly rly love her work, but my retention rate is just horrible compared to most people. Costly af. And once a lash fell off and went inside my eye fml i took A LOT of effort for me to get it out)

- mascara the heck out of my lashes (now ive a bump on my lash line that refuses to go away 🥲 i take my cleansing routine damn religiously leh sobs. Also no more accidentally stabbing my eye with the mascara wand lol)

When these glue-free lashes became a thing, I KNEW i had to try them.

The good:

- quick application, no needa fuss w lash glue

- it does look AMAZING, like ive got extensions done

- easy to remove

- stayed up the entire time i had them on, even after i got sweaty. And the weather was humid! (Disclaimer: i cleansed my face and own real lashes BEFORE putting on the glue-free lashes)

The bad:

- i could see the lashes. Might be a me-problem. My lashes are stubborn mofos that dont stay curled unless it's a lash lift

- i tried putting them without cleaning my lashes and they didnt stick cus my lids were too oily. I dont wanna have to wash my face and lids every time i put these on

- not reusable for me. It's no longer sticky after 1 use. Also probably a me-problem

Overall? I think it's a 7/10 for me.

it's perfect for when ive a special night out (i wore these on a date night), but it's not smth i would wear everyday.
