Vegan Finds: Spicy Moon

I recently visited Spicy Moon with a few friends. The restaurant is located in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan. They are open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week, we went for lunch without reservations, so it wasn’t crowded as it’s usually expected to be. The ambiance was a bit dark, with pink neon dim lighting. The place is tiny but the service was amazing. We ordered the steamed vegetable dumpling, spring rolls, and mapo tofu.

The dumpling were perfectly cooked, and the filling was well-seasoned. The spring rolls were crispy and super fresh, and the dipping sauce was delicious. I thought the Mapo Tofu was the star of the show, and it was the perfect balance of spicy and savory.

Overall, I had a great experience at SpicyMoon. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was a bit underwhelming but still inviting. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great vegan meal.
