Aug 2024: $3602.40 from our Joint Account

This is how we did from our joint account in Aug 2024.

👶🏻 Baby expenses: $1394.37

1. Infant care - Lower fees next month as our toddler transit to playgroup.

2. Savings - Ideally, we would want to increase our savings for our child. Hopefully, other expenses can be reduced to achieve this.

3. Diapers and wipes - They are probably one of the cheapest options in the market so this is the minimal we can get to. Thankfully, our child is not sensitive to any brands. Swimming diapers for weekly swim class.

4. Balance bike and helmet - Excited that he is growing taller and has grown to be so active, I got a balance bike and helmet. At 20 months now, we have not brought it out yet hahaha. But am not regretting it, he cycles on it at home sometimes.

5. Others - Random age appropriate toys as he’s around 1.5yo. They grow so fast that the toys options increase every other week. Or maybe I just cant stop spending 🙈

🏠 Home Expenses: $801.60

1. Reno loan - We’ve decided to do an early repayment to reduce the interest here so next month’s amount will be different.

2. Utilities - Surprisingly low bills this month, likely due to the correction in estimates. Still monitoring impact of heater on bills.

3. Tineco liquid - I opted for a cheaper option on shopee and that’s the price for 3 bottles.

4. Conservancy and Internet - Essentials

👩‍🍳 Helper Expenses: $926.60

1. Salary - This excludes the $60 levy.

2. Passport renewal - See breakdown on last picture. Drafted the whole experience but unable to post due to guidelines restriction :(

🛒 Groceries: $479.83

1. Groceries - Gave up on tracking individual items as it took too much time.
