Should you should bartend?!?

YES!

I started bartending when I turned 18 I bartended through college and now I bartend at an airport. I have trained bartenders for 3 years and have been bartending for almost 5 years. However bartending is NOT for everyone so do not get discouraged! There’s many other jobs in the service industry :)

Signs you would be a great bartender

📝Description/Tips:

-you’re outgoing

-can handle stress

-can take rude comments

-you can hold conversations with people

-you can work long shifts (most places do not give you breaks)

-you can learn and memorize

depending on area you are about to make around $200-$700 a shift! I’m sure bigger cities you make way more!!

✨ Pros:

-Quick money!

-I have found bartending made great skills to add on resumes because you can handle situations, have good communication skills, and can work in a fast paced environment!

-can build clientele

-can bounce from bar to bar without much training

-can be a side job at night

👀 Cons:

-not for everyone!

- mess ups are usually very serious within this industry (bc you’re dealing with alcohol) and result in termination

-some nights are not as good as others
