Must try cafe at New Bahru, worth the wait 🧡

Hey zesties!

I’m sure most of you have heard about the new hipster place that opened in July - NEW BAHRU.

I finally visited the place and tried the new cafe DEARBORN. We reached around 9.15am and was the first in the queue. We waited for about 30 mins before we had a table. Service wise, the staff were really friendly and polite 🫶🏼

I realised they didn’t have mains on their menu, they specialise mostly in baked and breakfast goods. Here’s some must try items!!

1. Dearborn breakfast sandwich

The sandwich was SOLID 💯 I didn’t expect the patty to taste this good but it was so juicy and the flavours were exceptional! Imagine some eggs, cheese and a damn good patty all in one bite! 😍

2. Potato and eggs

My sis recommended this and she was right when she said it was a must order! I love how unique this dish was. Potato mashed with sous vide egg! Interesting combo.

3. Sourdough and butter

The butter here was the main character. It had a savoury note and went super well with the sourdough bread. They were also super generous with the butter!

All in all, I felt the food was really great and will definitely be back to try their other items!!! 😍 Do try to come earlier as the queue can get really long after 10am 🫢
