Indie horror games that are worth playing!

Here are some non-cozy horror games that you should definitely check out!

👻No-skin: disclaimer, I have not finished this game yet. However, from what I have seen so far, this game has a pretty interesting concept, twists that keep you guessing, and engaging gameplay. I really like the art style, gives off analogue horror vibes.

👻Buckshot Roulette: I don’t know what it is about this game, but I have been obsessed either way it ever since it came out. I’ve never seen another horror game like it (before the fan-games started coming out). Great music and art style, unique gameplay, and just enough lore to keep it interesting.

👻Jr.’s: this is one of the best FNAF fan games that I have ever seen. You’re a night guard, and your in charge of performing maintenance on terrifying versions of the animatronics; however, you have to figure out which animatronic tugboat is possessing before you repair them, otherwise they’ll getcha before your shift ends! TW: jumpscares

👻Amanda the Adventure: this game is a horrific twist on children’s tv show Dora the Explorer. Solve puzzles to figure out what’s going on with the mysterious cassette tapes that you found in your late aunt’s attic. (The second chapter is coming out soon!)

👻At Dead of Night: Set in a creepy hotel that is home to several spirits and an odd hotel manager, Jimmy, this game combines live-action scenery and cutscenes with point and click gameplay to create a nerve-wrecking experience. Communicate with ghosts and search for your friends as you avoid being hunted.

👻How Fish is Made: I’m going to be honest— I have no idea how to describe this game. It is a very unique (odd) experience, to say the least. I just need someone else to experience the fever dream that is this game, honestly, what even is going on 🥴
