Steam Deck or Nintendo Switch?

I recently got a steam deck to play steam games without having to build my own PC. Some people ask how it compares to a nintendo switch and if it’s worth getting.

🌱Nintendo switch

This is the best handheld console on the market today. You can pair it with almost any system that you prefer. It compliments all systems or it can be your main/ daily driver console. For me, this is my main console, as I am a cozy gamer. A lot of cozy games come out on the Nintendo switch. I could probably just live with being a Nintendo Switch girlie since gaming is not my main hobby.

10/10 purchase. Literally the best thing and you can get the switch lite which is only $200. Unheard of price for a gaming console.

🌱Steam Deck

It’s worth the money. When any new popular game comes out, I now don’t have to wait for it to possibly come to the switch and also I don’t have to wait to see if the game ports well into the switch’s older software. I recently started playing Fields of Mistria and was telling my friend that it was like stardew valley but with better graphics and I forgot she didn’t have a steam deck. Until recently both of us only had a Switch. Just for that alone I think the steam deck is worth it. I can wait for games, but the waits or even anticipation for some games to come to the Switch keep getting longer and longer as this console gets older. Plus the Switch 2 is confirmed which might be why programmers are slower to port games.

8/10 purchase. It’s expensive, but if you can afford it go for it!
