setting up reading goals for the year

One of my favorite features on Storygraph are a variety of ways to track your reading goals. These goals are more of an encouragement to remind me to read, rather than a hard and fast rule. I have a reminder on my phone every two weeks to pick out a couple books, but with the goal to finish at least one of them. I never feel shame whenever I DNF a book (there have been so many over the last year) and this is what keeps reading exciting! These are the ones that I set on Storygraph to stay consistent and provide a sense of accomplishment at the end of the year.

🌱 overall reading goal: this is the one I typically focus on. I aim to read one book every month (12 total).

🌱 pages goal: more of an arbitrary statistic, but can be cool to see such a large number and feel pride at the end of the year!
