Cancun is a place known for fun, partying, and of course spring break. But did you know that it can be an oasis for relaxation, some of the best food, and exciting thrills? Here’s how you can spend the day in the beautiful Cancun if you ever plan on visiting:

🌊10:00am- Start your day by heading to the beach in Cancun and see the most pristine waters. They are crystal clear and blue like you’ve never seen before. The sun is super strong so make sure you wear tons of sunscreen. On the beach you can buy a coconut for only $5 from a vendor and drink the fresh coconut water inside. Once you purchase the coconut they will crack it open for you and you will be able to hydrate your body with fresh natural coconut water.

🌊2:00pm- Next, catch a shuttle boat that takes about 10 minutes to arrive in Isla Mujeres. On the island you can rent a golf cart for $15 and head out for an adventure. I was able to drive around and stop at a few clothing vendors, and even a cute spot that had live music playing. Driving around in the golf cart itself was probably the best part!

🌊7:00pm- In the evening, grab dinner at Porfirios restaurant, my favorite restaurant in Cancun. They have other locations in other parts of the country and I always make sure to plan a dinner there when heading to Mexico. In Mexico it can appear to be more of an upscale restaurant, but because the US dollar is worth more, I felt comfortable splurging a little bit. I got the cecina tacos that come on a little rack and I thought the display was super cute. I also got the mango tamarind salad which was to die for. They come with these tamarind candies that had me hooked! It was light and fruity, which is exactly what I look for in a salad.
