Simplified Hainanese Chicken Rice 😋😋

To marinate chicken

- boneless chicken whole leg

- spring onion (only the stem part)

- ginger slice

- salt

- massage it for a while and let it marinate for 30 minutes or more

The Cooking steps:-

1. Heat up the mess tin with low heat

2. Put in the butter, move the butter evenly on the mess tin

3. Put in pandan lead, spring onion, garlic and ginger. Fry it for a while until you can smell the fragrance

4. Put in the rice (wash and rinse first), slightly fry it

5. Pour in chicken stock (ratio: 1 cup of rice = 2 cups of chicken stock)

6. Turn to high heat and bring it to boil

7. After boil, turn to low heat, cover the lid and let it simmer for 5 minutes

8. Put in the marinated chicken on top of the half cook rice, cover the lid and let it simmer for another 10 minutes.

9. After 10 minutes, turn off the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

10. Remove the chicken, pandan leaf, spring onion, ginger and garlic from the rice.

11. Chop the chicken into smaller pieces, place on the rice and put the premixed sauce on the chicken.

The sauce:-

- hot water

- light soy sauce

- sugar

- sesame oil
