Dropped out from uni to become a pro chef!!!

Hi Lemon8-ers!

I’m Derek, winner of MasterChef Singapore S2! (Yes, Singapore got masterchef 😂😂😂)

Was actually an engineering undergrad in NTU but dropped out full time to pursue my dreams of becoming a chef!

I believe that food brings everyone together and makes people happy. That’s the reason why I work so hard to put great food on the table for people to enjoy!

I created own private dining business @twelveflavours back in uni days and also just recently, a chocolate business @kakkowsg!
