How to tell if your Makeup is Expired

Here is how you can tell they are expired.

1. The product has a foul or weird smell unlike before.

2. The color is off and different. Color changes means that your makeup has expired and has even experienced bacterial growth

3. The texture has changed, and it may become stiff.

4. Check the label. Even if it still looks good, smells nice and still has a great texture, if its expired already, you should stop using it. Make reading labels of the products a habit to avoid any infections and irritations to your skin.

As they say, prevention is better than cure. We should also store our make up properly because exposure to warmth and sun can dry out the products. Too much warmth can also cause the natural oils to separate from the rest of the product, leading the makeup to expire early.
