INSIDE OUT 2 - btr than millions b4 grandma dies?!

Some of you should know that today was the 1st day of screening of INSIDE OUT 2 which is a super popular movie esp the first season!! I watched this movie alone which was super impromptu bc I was bored and wanted to catch it ASAP since it was out today!!! 💖😭

Tbh this may be an unpopular opinion but I like this movie a lil better than how to make millions before grandma dies… maybe cuz this movie has alot of quotes and scenes I can relate to when growing up EVEN THO I did cry in the grandma movie too but I felt that there were some parts that were too abrupt and underwhelming

And this movie rly hits hard esp bc I’ve watched the 1st movie when I was younger and many years later.. the director purposely only screened this movie now bc he wants the main character to also be at the stage where she’s experiencing puberty and is growing up, just LIKE US… which makes it even more emotional and relatable?!!

Idw to spoil too much about the movie but there were many scenes and quotes that hit hard bc they surround the topics of insecurity, never feeling good enough and always having the desire to fit into social groups and expectations so that we feel “cooler” or “more wanted”.

The main takeaway of this story is to not change yourself for who you are and what you love just because others have different opinions and thoughts as you. This may sound super cliche but it’s rly sooo important to not lose yourself in the process of growing up and cherishing whatever you have, instead of constantly comparing yourself with others which is completely normal, but tiring. 😭

Teared up a lil during the movie but tried hard to hold the tears back bc I was alone and I was abit paiseh to bawl my eyes with people around me but overall a 10/10 for me and I don’t mind watching it again fr 🥹✨🥰
