The most meaningful Valentines’ gift? 💘💌💝

Valentines’ day is right around the corner…and many of you may still be wondering what you should get for your S/O? But don’t worry~ I’ve got you covered!

I made this Monopoly board for my bf for our 2nd anniversary previously (HE LOVES IT 🥰) and I had so much fun so I thought all of you can use this for V’Day as well ☺️

This idea was inspired by @kairosframes on IG which was why I decided to make one my own! The expected damage was about $40-$45 iirc? It’s a little pricey but it was worth every penny spent cuz I personally find it a thoughtful and cute gift for your S/O!

It was pretty simple to make this:

1) I started off by using a square template on Canva - I set the dimensions of it as 20 x 20 inches (it is pretty big LOL but you can adjust the size accordingly to how big you want it to be)

2) Next, I just went on Google to search for a monopoly template and you can use the one I used in this link: Monopoly board

3) You can just copy and paste the image onto the square template that you previously started off on Canva~

4) Just like the actual Monopoly game, you will have the buildings / locations on the boxes with the coloured headers - for me, I just put all of our fav places that we went/ate/stayed at (full of cute memories 🫶💘)

5) For the ones without the coloured headers, I put our couple pics, some random exercise activities and even welfare benefits like treating him to a free meal! 😉

6) In the middle of the Monopoly board, they are supposed to be where the chance cards & community chest cards are but I’ve just replaced them with more couple photos 🥰 You can then put a “HAPPY VALENTINES’ DAY” message in between the 2 photos as well!

7) if you swipe to the 4th page of this post, those are examples of some of the chance cards & community chest cards I made but of course, they are my ♥️ messages and I accounted for each of our memories in the same places on the Monopoly board itself!

8) I’m sure you are all very curious to where I got this board printed - I printed them at this printing shop at Sunshine plaza level 1! (91 Bencoolen St, #01 -09, Singapore 189652) The quality of the board is very good and pretty sturdy! Also, for the chance and the community chest cards, I printed them and laminated them as well before cutting them manually 1 by 1 🤧
