Diaper Bag Nostalgia

This granny square bag is one of my favorite accessories. It was my diaper bag today, and I felt like a piece of my nana was with me.

When I was little I lived with my nana for a while and she used to crotchet granny square blankets.

The pattern has always reminded me of her and all the mornings we spent in the kitchen making bread from scratch and cooking her favorite Italian recipes.

Fast forward to our baby moon in Italy- we stopped in the island of Burano, and I found this little store that had these handmade bags. I was quite literally stopped in my tracks and just had to purchase one. I planned then and there that I would pass it down to Nora one day

Anyways now I’m crying and looking through old photos. Gotta go 🌈✌🏾
