hangang river runs through seoul and its a popular go-to spot with many parks for you to access the river view 👀

some popular parks to enjoy hangang would be:

1. yeouido hangang park: have food carts at night and large space for picnics 🥡

2. ttukseom hangang park: good for chilling on the rocky coasts & pedalling a swan boat 🦢

3. banpo hangang park: has a banpo bridge that have rainbow lights performance at night 🌈

4. mangwon hangang park: mangwon market nearby with good food to takeaway to the park 🍽

here are my recommendations on must-dos @ hangang parks:

1️⃣ ride a swan boat

— best view at ttukseom hangang park

— choose between motorised (25,000 KRW per hour) or manual pedal (14,000KRW per hour)

— easier to get the motorised one especially if there are 3pax on the boat (can get tiring to pedal)

2️⃣ cook your own ramyeon

— convenience stores in hangang parks have ramyeon cookers (popular food choice amongst locals) 🍜

— buy your ramyeon and pay for the bowl + chopsticks to cook and eat your ramyeon by the river!

3️⃣ picnic by the river

— yeouido hangang park is especially good for picnics

— there is a hyundai mall for you to takeaway food from + food carts at night in that park for you to get extra street food 🍢
