thoughts on Gracie Abram’s new album?

This is Gracie Abram’s new album that released on June 21. My thoughts it that this album is AMAZING. I seriously feel like this is just a masterpiece. My opinion on this album is that I feel like this is Gracie’s best album yet! I will share my opinions of all the tracks.

Starting off, the first track (“Felt Good About You”) is an amazing track to start off her new album. Now is it a top 5 for me, no but I will say it’s a very good song. I like the title repeating for it, including it getting more intense and she repeats it and as it goes along in the song.

Track 2 (“Risk”). This was her first single for this album. It was also released earlier than the album was. She released this song on May 1st along with a music video. My thoughts on this song… this is definitely a top 3 for sure. I really love how when the second chorus hits, it’s different from the 1 st chorus. She sing the first chorus and then more for the second chorus. It’s like she continues it without a stopping point it just comes along. I understand why this song became a hit single.

Track 3 (“Blowing Smoke”). This song is incredible. Not quite my top 3, but a top 5. I like the lyrics of her saying “Their just blowing smoke, I’ll say what they won’t” and the rest of the chorus for that song. Very enjoyable and is definitely a favorite by not just me.

Track 4 (“I Love You, I’m Sorry”). I didn’t expect what the song gave. I really expected it to be like her song (“i miss you, i’m sorry”). It’s kinda like that, but not really. Now I do enjoy this song very much. Not a top 5 but my top 10. I do enjoy the instruments she uses in this song.

Track 5 (“us. [feat. Taylor Swift]”) I did not expect this from Gracie Abram’s and Taylor Swift. Now I did hint maybe a collaboration when she brought out Gracie on The Eras Tour for the first time. And hinted it when she announced Gracie would be back starting with Miami’s openers in Oct 24. The bridge of this song is ALL. Now here’s the thing, I love Taylor Swift but fans of both artists need to appreciate Gracie work but also including Taylor’s with this song. I just wish people had cared more about the other songs on Gracie’s own album, instead of just wanting to listen to us because it features a fan favorite artist. Again, I really love Taylor Swift (a die hard fan to be exact. and maybe a little obsessed but that’s besides it) but please also care about the other songs of Gracie’s. This song is actually also my 5th favorite song from this album though.

Track 6 (“Let It Happen”) This song is absolutely beautiful. This is a very good song and I wish more people loved it. Though now it is not a top 5, but a top 10, it’s very good and I love it. I love the lyrics to it, how she comes up with all of it, how she CAME up with it. Just everything. Definitely a full played song.

Track 7 (“Tough Love”). I have no words. But I do. This song HAS to be loved somehow. This song is amazing and I can’t believe it’s a thing. Tough Love is somehow similar to (“Let It Happen”), though I don’t see the similarity. Tough Love is just a masterpiece, made from a masterpiece that creates masterpieces like this masterpiece.

Track 8 (“I Knew It, I Know You”). This song is terribly underrated. The guitar is just amazing with this song. It’s a very low-tone voice song and I think people that like acoustic songs or versions of them will like this one.

Track 9 (“Gave You I Gave You I”). This song is pretty much about what Gracie gave to someone and really the chorus is short saying “Gave You, I Gave You, I Gave You, I Gave You, I” Nothing really much but really something incredibly good. This song is underrated with (“I Knew It, I Know You”) basically last track. But I do thing (“I Knew It, I Know You”) is better than (“Gave You I Gave You I”) but both amazing. Plus a point since it’s Gracie Abram’s you know?

Track 10 (“Normal Thing”). This song is probably the most underrated track of The Secret of Us. She talks about things being normal and it’s not weird to not be the same as others, or having the same opinion. To be yourself and what you think is right, is what you think. Unless it’s not an opinion and it’s actually the truth or not the truth. But either way this song is relatable to some people, not everyone else because it’s relatable to these certain people.

Track 11 (“Good Luck Charlie”). I’m pretty sure this is about Gracie’s friend, Audrey, about a boy of Audrey’s? I don’t know i’m just assuming from the first lyrics saying “You keep a picture of Audrey inside your wallet” and which Audrey is Gracie’s friend that helped her make some of the songs of her album. This is a good song and I do recommend listening to it.

Track 12 (“Free Now”). This is my FAVORITE song from Gracie’s new album. I love the chill, smooth lyrics of most of the song, and then when the bridge hits the beat changes and it’s just PERFECTIONIST!!! This song is absolutely amazing and if you just give it a chance, you’ll fall in love with it. I can’t believe Gracie even made this song. I’m glad she did because it’s a favorite of mine now. This is a very unique and special masterpiece that a masterpiece made that makes other masterpieces like this. If you like Olivia Rodrigo, you’ll probably like this song.

Track 13 (“Close To You”). This is the final track of this album. This was the albums second single. I’m pretty sure this was one of Gracie’s first songs or maybe her first. This song was made seven years ago and got snippets of it released a few years ago. Now finally it’s released on Gracie Abram’s 4th studio album (“The Secret of Us”). Gracie herself is very proud of making this song. This song is amazing and VERY iconic. Gracie Abram fans have been waiting for this song as snippets of it got released. This song is just a masterpiece and really just… good! I recommend listening to this song, including the whole album. #gracieabrams #thesecretofus
