Monarch Process

This was an amazing and enjoyable experience for me.

I’ve loved butterflies for my whole life, especially monarchs. I have tattoos to show for it.

I work at a kiosk and the lady from another store saw my tattoos one days. She ask, “You don’t like butterflies do you?”

I laughed and responded with, “no not at all”

Of course it was sarcasm, because of my three giant tattoos.

Anyway a week pass and she gives me this crystallized butterfly. At first confused because I had no idea what to expect. When she had this beautiful butterfly already cocooned.

I’ve raised butterflies with my mom when we were younger; we had a few of them and we watched them transform. Getting to do this again filled me with so much joy and nostalgia!
