Moving from Texas to Nashville!

I can’t believe it. We have prayed and thought about this decision for 6+ months. Never have I ever lived anywhere besides Texas, and have spent a majority of my life in a South Houston suburb.

Ted’s company is growing and ready for their next brick and mortar office in Nashville, TN. I just couldn’t imagine him commuting back and forth during the week and our family not being together. We decided it would be best to move as a family since the kids are so young and Ted can focus of getting this new office up and running. With that said, we are hoping it’ll be a short period of time. Houston will always be home for us. We plan to come back to Houston to see our family and friends A TON.

It’s definitely bittersweet with my sister expecting her first baby. We are going to wait for baby boy to be here before we move! I know we are going to make the most of the time spent together and living in two different places is NOT forever. For sure the hardest part of all of this will be moving away from her and the rest of the family.

I also believe this is going to help my grieving process so much. I live 10 minutes down the road from my mom and dad’s place. I pass by it Every. Single. Day. And it hurts. A fresh start with out so many memories and stings is going to be good for my soul. I just know it.
