I myself have struggled with social anxiety for about a year now and even though I am not over it these are some things that have helped me throughout the year.

1. Stay Active: I have found that staying active has been able to keep my mind of my anxiety and helps focus better on what I'm doing

2. Doing uncomfortable things: Although uncomfortable things do make my social anxiety go through the roof it has also overtime helped me overcome it little by little. It gave me a sense of accomplishment, doing something I felt I couldn't.

3. Let go of insecurity: With about a year of anxiety, I've realized that my social anxiety comes from my insecurity. My whole life I never considered myself insecure and whenever my social anxiety I realized I actually quite am. So I would say be urself dress the way you want, and be confident even if ur not. Fake it till you make it !

4. Time to self: Social anxiety can really be a struggle at time so have a journal to vent or a journal to draw on is a relief as you can express what you feel. Music is also such a good way to help keep the anxious thoughts away as well as meditating.

I hope this helps to anyone who is severely struggling with social anxiety like I was. I hope in any this gives anyone, some type of comfort to know they're not alone and that things slowly get better!
