NSTANT POT MEXICAN CHICKEN

This Instant pot Mexican chicken is such an easy weeknight meal. It’s made in under 30 minutes and so easy to make.This recipe is delicious and the queso gives the chicken some great added flavor! You will love this recipe!

Ingredients

3-4 Chicken Breasts @farmerfocus

1 medium jar of Salsa @mateos_salsa

1/2 cup of queso @sietefoods

1/2 yellow onion diced

Taco seasoning @sietefoods

Salt, pepper, garlic powder

Directions:

1. Chop your onions, set your instant pot to the press Sauté function for 5 minutes. Add your onions and mix until translucent, add your chicken breasts, season with salt, pepper and garlic powder and sear for about a 2 minutes on each side.

2. Add in your taco seasoning, salsa, queso, and mix through.

3. Put the lid on the instant pot, hit the pressure cooker function and add 10 minutes. Let cook until complete and steam has completely been ventilated from instant pot.

4. Remove lid and shred your chicken with two forks. Add to your tacos or taco bowl and enjoy!
