What makes something considered as a hidden gem? Is it the great value? Located hidden at unbeaten path? Or could it be because its simply not well known yet? Alex Creation Café is all of the above.

Tucked away among beauty clinics and nested at the end of windowless passageway at Bugis Cube, it makes me really wonder how would anyone find this place. To my surprise, the place is always packed whenever I came to dine as the eatery had its own loyal followings and the food is worth coming for due to its reasonable price and it is guaranteed to satisfy your craving of creamy pasta

The eatery only serves pasta and a few side dishes to go with. There are 3 types of pasta available; spaghetti, linguine, penne, and a number of pasta base to choose from. The popular ones would be; thai cream, java cream, laksa cream, and tomato cream— yes its mostly cream based and taste similar to carbonara with a twist of asian flavour. Comes either as a set (++S$3.50-4.50) or ala carte

For the one shown on this post; I am sharing our order that we had during our last visit; Thai Cream Chicken Spaghetti and Tomato Cream Seafood Linguine set meals(S$16.50 & 18.50). Each set meal comes with a mushroom soup, garlic bread, and a choice of drink.

Note: If you are sharing with your partner, it would be great to chose 1 cream base & 1 non cream base pasta to share with as the cream base pastas are quite heavy. We were very hungry last time so we decided to orderboth cream + set meal, and ended up feeling jialat 🤣. It is great, we love it; but again its very heavy.
