3 COURSE DINNER UNDER $40 IN THE CITY 🥂🍽️

got a dinner date or a gathering with friends and unsure of where to go? here’s a restaurant that offers you the most bang for your buck 🤑

🚊 Nearest MRT: Raffles Place

mind you though, the food isn’t the fanciest nor the most classy, though the portion sizes were pretty impressive; i could barely get through even a third of my main course. honest review: the main course was humble and nothing to brag about, but i enjoyed both the appetizer & dessert tremendously.

here’s what i ordered:

🥂 appetizer: salt & pepper calamari rings

- pretty good! but they only gave us 2 pieces

🥂 main course: hawaiian parmigiana

- this was meh. i googled and parmigiana was supposed to be eggplant parmesan (which was what i wanted to eat) but they ended up serving me chicken parmesan…which i do not like 💀💀💀

🥂 dessert: housemade apple pie

- really good as well! came with vanilla ice cream on the side. this was probably my favourite

the first floor of the restaurant is a bar that extends to the streets,, the waitress kind of “rushed” us out of restaurant portion at 9.30pm even though the bar downstairs was still a party in full swing (i guess they wanted to close the restaurant portion early but they could have been nicer about it) 😒 if you’re seated at the bar section though, i don’t think they’ll chase you out so early.

will i be back? 🤔

not for a while i would say. food and service were ~alright~, could have been better for sure. waitress was kinda annoying. but portions were hUGe, i think it can feed 2pax 😵‍💫 ambience & vibes were nubbad, it was pretty quiet up in the restaurant section and conducive for conversations, would have made for a good place for a gathering if we hadn’t been chased out so early zz. but for the price point in today’s economy, definitely worth.
