Here’s my simple 5 step body care routine for the summer!
1. Dry brushing - I do this 3x a week. I love to dry brush before showering. It helps remove any dead skin cells and leaves me with a glowing & rejuvenated feel. The dry brush that I use is Eco Tools!
2. Moisturize! Moisturize! Moisturize! - I only use my trusty ol’ Cerave non-scented moisturizing cream. This is much thicker than a lotion, but it dries with a lightweight feel. It leaves me super soft and hydrated throughout the day.
3 & 4. Body oil & sunscreen - I lock everything in using Palmer’s Cocoa Butter oil. I will always repurchase this because it smells like chocolate 🍫 😋 I typically do this during night time (similar to how I would use a face oil only at night.) Then, I make sure to finish it my body off with an oil sunscreen, and I use Hawaiian tropic’s dry oil sunscreen. This is the perfect finisher because it’s not at all oily and keeps my protected from the harmful sun rays!
5. Lastly, I finish it off by moisturizing my lips with Vaseline’s cocoa butter lip therapy. Don’t get this if you don’t want luscious and glowing lips! 👄
