Creepy Easter Diys (Creapster)

Them: "Every holiday can't be creepy!"

My dark, creepy, gothic aesthetic is year round and not just for Halloween. My decor needs to be a little spooky at all times, even for Easter. These are a few diys I've done for previous Easters.

Dark Floral Eggs: I used @dollartree plastic Easter eggs or this diy. I spray painted the eggs black. Next I printed a bunch of dark floral images I found on google. After tearing the pictures, I used mod podge to adhere them to the eggs. To add a little sparkle, I used some gold foil. I love the way these turned out. They are goth glam perfection.

Creepy Bunny Mask: I found an image on Pinterest that I fell in love with and had to recreate. This project is a little more difficult and has many steps. I started with a Dollar Tree mask and added cardboard ears. After those were attached, with hot glue, I covered the entire base with spackle and caulk. I carved cracks and broken pieces throughout to give the bunny an aged and old/used look. Once it was completely dry, I added black paint as an accent and to accentuate the cracks. Of course I had to glam it up a little bit with some pearl ribbon along the outside and some rhinestone tears. I still have this bunny and am still obsessed.

Eggs-rays: Egg x-rays...get it?! These eggs were made in the same way as the dark floral ones. I found images to print, and attached them to the spray painted eggs via mod podge. I wanted the edges of the paper to look finished and thought of Faberge eggs. That inspired me to add the pearl ribbon to the edge. This gave it a more finished look. Honestly, I love calling them eggs-rays.

I don't do too much for Easter, but I do love the little bit that I have done for decor. Do you decorate for Easter?
