Apps For My Finances and Credit

I have a "folder" for almost everything on my phone because I like everything on my home screen. Here's what I have in my Financial folder and why.

Credit Karma

- so I can keep track of my credit scores

- helps me keep track of what's on my credit history

-gives advice on more ways to improve my credit score

-helped me get my first credit (no longer have it 🥺)

*currently trying to get set up with the savings account

Empower

-loans

-reports my repayments

-credit building

Kikoff (had for about 2 years)

-helps improve my credit score

-low monthly payments (recently upgraded to the $35/month for a credit line increase)

-has a 30 day grace period and account can be paused

suggests other ways to improve credit score

- offers a secured credit card (haven't signed up yet)

Chime

- current bank

- currently have $100 overdraft available, an extra $20 with boosts from other Chime users

-has a secured credit card available, no deposit required

-secured card can be used at ATM and used for overdraft

-has a savings account

-10% of your check and a certain percentage of every purchase can automatically be sent to savings

Cash App

-borrowing and lending money lol

*I don't have an iPhone or a real bank so no Zelle

Wallet

-tap pay

- Sam's Club

Self (just applied a few weeks ago, but should've done it sooner)

- credit building

- offers different plans, which determines how much you'll get back

-offers a credit card after on time payments and a certain amount is in your savings

Ava (just learned about it a few weeks ago)

-credit building (similar to Credit karma)

-keeps track of credit, credit cards, debt, etc

Cleo

- quick loan, currently only can get $40

- with a $7 fee,I can get it on my card immediately

- can reborrow the same day of repayment

-choose when you want to repay

*I forgot about it and it took the money from my account. It was a late repayment, but I was able to go into the app and borrow again immediately.
