Belle Prairie

This is a county park located on the Mississippi River. It has hiking trails, a nice pavilion, frisbee golf,and an old play equipment area for kiddos. It was a great place to hike and then have a lunch with a great view of the river.

Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge

This Wildlife Refuge had a large trail and a small interactive area for kid. It would be a wonderful hike in the spring for birding.

Charles A. Lindbergh State Park

This state park has beautiful trails that lead to the water. ( Pikes Creek and the Mississippi River)It has a great picnic area. It also has a ton of history. You can also visit the on site museum. I love the trails. The old water tower is pretty cool also. It was built in 1939 using native stones. Great trails to see the fall colors.
